Prairie Star Dental is hosting its second annual Free Dental Day on Friday, November 13, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. New patients can receive either a free teeth cleaning or a free tooth extraction at no cost. The event is open to patients who are not already established with our office. Patients are seen first come, first served at our Round Rock office, 1900 University Blvd Ste 180.
Last year, neighbors from across Round Rock and the greater Austin area came to our first Free Dental Day. We’re bringing it back so more people can get care before the holiday season.

What You Can Receive
Each patient receives one service. Choose the option that fits your need.
Free Teeth Cleaning
A professional regular cleaning (aka “prophy”) removes the plaque and tartar buildup that brushing at home can’t reach. If you need a deep cleaning, it may not be possible at this event but we’ll explain your diagnosis and options.
Free Tooth Extraction
An extraction removes a tooth that is causing problems. Our doctors will evaluate you first to confirm an extraction is appropriate. Complex cases, like impacted wisdom teeth, may not be possible at this one-day event because they require more time, planning, and possible sedation. If yours is complex, we’ll explain your next best options.

How to Prepare for Free Dental Day
Arrive Early
Doors open at 9 AM, and patients are seen in the order they arrive. The number of spots depends on the time available, so arriving early gives you the best chance of being seen. (Last year, the line started forming around 8 AM.)
Plan to Stay On Site
Once you check in, please stay on the property until you are seen. Leaving the property means forfeiting your spot. This rule keeps the line fair for everyone waiting.
Know Which Service You Need
Decide ahead of time whether you’re coming for a cleaning or an extraction. That helps our team keep the day moving.
Bring a Photo ID and Medication List
A list of the medications you take helps our doctors provide safe care.

Free Dental Day is our way of thanking the community we serve. Many people in the Round Rock and Austin area put off dental care because of cost or access. For one day each year, we set our regular schedule aside so we can help as many neighbors as possible.
