If you have always wanted a straighter smile but didn’t want to face the embarrassment of wearing traditional metal braces, we have good news! ClearCorrect aligners straighten your teeth just as effectively as old-style metal braces, but they’re virtually invisible. Now, you can have straighter teeth minus the embarrassment of traditional braces. Dr. Rawcliffe is pleased to offer ClearCorrect to his Round Rock, TX, area patients.
How They Work
We begin by submitting your information – including dental impressions, photographs, radiographs, and your prescription – to the ClearCorrect laboratory. The experts in that lab create a 3-D model of your teeth and prepare an individualized plan for how to straighten your teeth using these remarkable aligners. The ClearCorrect technicians will then provide Dr. Rawcliffe with a computerized image of what your teeth look like before treatment, as well as what they’re projected to look like after treatment!
The treatment itself includes four different phases, each of which requires a new set of aligners for you to wear. You’ll have to wear the aligners all the time, but you can remove them to enjoy your meals and brush and floss your teeth as you normally would. The best part of all – the aligners are virtually invisible, so no one will ever know you’re wearing them!
Every few weeks, you’ll return to our office and Dr. Rawcliffe will provide you with a new set of aligners. The entire treatment time is typically from one to two years. At the end of treatment, you’ll have the straighter smile you’ve always wanted!
Are You a Good Candidate for ClearCorrect?
As is true for almost any dental appliance, ClearCorrect may not be right for every patient. Generally speaking, this remarkable technology works well for people with crooked teeth, crowded teeth, underbites, overbites, and people with spaces between teeth. The only way to know for sure whether or not ClearCorrect is right for you is to visit Dr. Rawcliffe for an oral exam.
